Each week we’ll have different trivia questions for you to answer correctly, and a chance to win a prize. You do not need to enter each week to participate. The Fox Valley Writers group is dedicated to the idea of helping writers of all skill levels connect and grow with one another. We meet every other Tuesday with the dual goals of getting some writing done, and sharing positive, constructive feedback on one another’s work. We also craft, edit, and layout the yearly anthology Foxtales. Membership is free and open to all adults 18 and over. We work with poetry, fiction, and nonfiction of all categories. Identity Theft Workshop

This program is part of the State Comptroller's Smart Consumer Illinois program. Smart Consumers Illinois was designed to assist Illinois residents in regaining their financial footing. Through the program, Illinois communities, and organizations may schedule financial workshops hosted by the Comptroller’s Office to address everything from the tracking of daily expenses and budgeting to exploring credit card options and identity theft protection.

Identity Theft is one of our most requested presentations among all ages – but especially for those that are 60+ years young. Learn about the many ways thieves can steal your financial and confidential information and what you can do to keep it out of their hands.
